Pickett House

See the oldest wooden structure in Washington State built with planks sawn at the Roeder Peabody saw mill on Whatcom Creek. Daughters of Pioneers host an open house & tours 1-4 pm of the 1856 historic home of Capt. George E. Picket. Later as General Pickett, he led the infamous 1863 charge at Gettysburg during the Civil War.
