Janet Oakley, local historian, writer,speaks on her research behind the story and read from her novel, "TREE SOLDIER: A NOVEL of LOVE, FORGIVENESS and the GREAT DEPRESSION". Books will available for sale. Oakley’s writings appear in various magazines, anthologies, and other media including the Cup of Comfort series and Historylink.org, a “cyperpedia of Washington State history.”
