The Friends of Big Rock Garden Park and the Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department host a Mother's Day party from 1 to 4 p.m. Walk the wooded trails, discover the sculpture collectin, see the rhododendrons and azaleas in bloom and enjoy music and refreshments. Free shuttle bus leaves from Bloedel Donovan Park or park at Silver Beach School and walk the trails to the park.
