Sleep in on the day after Thanksgiving! Visit Fairhaven Holiday Festival on Friday evening. Santa and Mrs. Claus greet visitors at Harris Ave gazebo, 3 to 4:45 p.m. (Bring your own camera.) Lighting of the Trees on the Village Green at 5 p.m. with Bellingham High School “Showstoppers” choir, official Lighting of the District and Holiday Art Walk 5 to 8 p.m. Event continues on Saturday with Santa and horse-drawn carriage rides at Fairhaven Village Inn from noon to 3 p.m. and Art Walk 5 to 8 p.m.
