Whatcom Symphony Orchestra - John Friesen plays Haydn
The Whatcom Symphony presents renowned Canadian cellist John Friesen, performing Haydn’s delightful Concerto in C Major. The program also includes Bach’s Passacaglia and Fugue, plus a rare performance of Respighi’s Metamorphoseon.
Conducted by Jonathan Andrew Govias, one of four remarkable finalists for a new WSO Music Director. A distinguished conductor, author and public speaker, Maestro Govias was appointed music director of a professional orchestra at the age of 22.
