Book reading for "The Red Meadows"

Author Neil Sogge reads from his translation of "The Red Meadows," a World War II sabotage novel set in Denmark, originally written by Ole Juul in 1945.

Sogge will read from his book at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at Village Books, 1200 11th St., and at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Jan.12, at Barnes & Noble in Bellingham, 4099 Meridian St.

Sogge will sign copies of the book at the reading.
