20th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Human Rights Saturday Conference

Community Event, Class/Workshop, Social Event, Relationships, Conference
Our theme this year is: 50 years of Freedom or 50 years of Fear; Chaos or Community? Where do we go from here? Our conference theme asks participants to reflect on what has changed and what has not changed since Dr. King's death 50 years ago. It echoes the title of Dr. King's 1967 book, Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community? The keynote will be "A Collective Contribution," a fishbowl conversation between womxn of color. There will be skill building workshops for children (accompanied by an adult), teens, and adults. Clock hours available for school educators.
