A quartet of mellow lads from Kent, England, It Hugs Back specializes in warm, fuzzy dream-pop. Drawing considerable influence from Yo La Tengo, as well as its British shoegazer predecessors (My Bloody Valentine, Ride, et al), the band formed in 2006 and released a number of well-received singles.
