Our Valley's Public Servants: Know Your Neighbor #4

Our Valley's Public Servants: Know Your Neighbor #4

Community Event, Food/Tasting
The South Fork Valley Community Association (SFVCA) is pleased to present the Know Your Neighbor project funded by a grant from the Whatcom Community Foundation. Know Your Neighbor is a series of five panel discussions featuring diverse groups from the South Fork Valley community conversing about the rewards and challenges of living and working in rural eastern Whatcom County. These dialogues, running from March through May 2017 at the Van Zandt Community Hall, enable neighbors from various walks of life and locales in the valley to come together and get to know each other over lively conversation and a bountiful buffet provided by area eateries. Getting acquainted with all sorts of residents throughout the Valley while enjoying fantastic local food…what’s not to like about that? All are welcome to join in the neighborly conversation: Panel #4 “Our Valley’s Public Servants”: May 4, 2017 at the Van Zandt Community Hall, 4106 Valley Highway (Highway 9), 6:30-8:00PM. We’ll hear from folks who give their time and energy to educate, inform, counsel, and help improve life in our Valley. Scheduled panelists include: • Ken Ferry, River of Life Church • Russ Pfeiffer-Hoyt, Mt. Baker School District • Katrina Carabba, Deming Library With catering by: • Acme Diner
