LIVE NATION PRESENTS: Brian Regan: Live Comedy Tour

Stand Up Comedy
Comedian Brian Regan announces summer and fall 2017 tour dates for his non-stop theater tour, visiting 39 cities from June through December 2017. Setting a comedic standard of excellence that others continually try to follow, Regan made history with the September 2015 live broadcast of Brian Regan: Live from Radio City Music Hall, the first live broadcast of a stand-up special in Comedy Central’s history. Brian made a scene-stealing cameo in Chris Rock’s film, Top Five, and he was seen in Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. But it is stand-up comedy that is Brian’s focus; he continues to visit close to 100 cities each year, selling out some of the most beautiful venues on the continent. Regan just announced a two-special deal with Netflix, joining Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Louis CK in multi-special deals with the leader in worldwide streaming. Regan will tape the first special on June 23 & 24, 2017 at The Paramount Theatre in Denver. For more, visit www.BrianRegan.com or follow Brian on Twitter: @BrianReganComic This is an independent event promoted by a renter of the facility. The Piano Guys

Classical, Pop
What do you get when you mix up a marketing genius that does video, a studio engineer that writes music, a pianist that had a successful solo career, and a cellist that does pretty much everything? The Piano Guys: a miraculous meeting of “guys” with the same intrinsic purpose – to make a positive impact in the lives of people all over the world through music videos. These classically-trained musicians have definitely found their groove, and it lies somewhere in between rock and Rachmaninoff. Jon Schmidt (piano), Steven Sharp Nelson (cello) Paul Anderson (production, videography) and Al Van Der Beek (production, songwriting), a.k.a. The Piano Guys, are more than just a musical act, they are a multi-media production team. Through innovative musical composition, cutting-edge technology, and a dash of humor, The Piano Guys produce entertaining videos (oftentimes shot in breathtaking locales) of themselves performing their own rendition of popular songs, classical compositions, movie soundtracks and more. When The Piano Guys announced that a LIVE concert tour was in the works, eager fans anticipated the chance to buy tickets to what promises to be a stunning onstage spectacle of sight and sound. This is an independent event promoted by a renter of the facility. Any comments or opinions expressed do not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of Mount Baker Theatre.

Evil Dead: The Musical

Comedy, Musical
WARNING: This show uses strobe lighting, gunshot effects, smoke, blood, axes, chainsaws, blood, severed body parts, and blood . . . oh, and there may also be some blood. Those seated in the designated “Splatter Zone” seat locations will be splashed by stage “blood” and get increasingly wet over the course of the performance. The Evil Dead finds new life as a macabre musical comedy sensation that combines the cult-classic horror trilogy into one bloody helluva good time. Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s up to Ash—a housewares employee turned demon-killing hero—and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes… and it’s all set to a galvanic score of rock ‘n’ roll, pastiche tunes, and get-down-in-the-aisles-and-boogie music that’ll have you saying, “Hail to the king, baby.” “(????/out of four) Bloody hilarious! A winner! Devilishly entertaining and one hell of a fun night out!” – The Toronto Star “The next Rocky Horror Show!” – The New York Times
