Audubon Society: The Diking of the Delta

Audubon Society: The Diking of the Delta

Talks/Lectures
Lower Skagit Valley is an amazing place for birding. That’s partly because of natural features and partly because of how it was changed by human development. Glen “Alex” Alexander, recently retired Education Coordinator at Padilla Bay Reserve, will tell the amazing story of the diking of the Skagit Valley. You may love the magic of the Skagit or you may long to see the way it was, but you will never look at those dikes the same after this presentation. Co-presented by the North Cascades Audubon Society (NCAS). $5 suggested donation/Museum & NCAS members free.
